Soccer Program Celebrates Successful Return Season at Winter Banquet


The soccer program celebrated its first season back with a memorable evening at its Winter Banquet, where players, coaches, and families gathered to reflect on the team’s hard work and accomplishments. The event highlighted the dedication shown throughout the season and recognized athletes who made a significant impact both on the field and within the team’s culture. Coaches spoke about the growth of the program and the resilience the players demonstrated from the first kickoff of the season to the final whistle in overtime during the opening round of the playoffs.

A special moment of the night came with the announcement of postseason honors. Joelle McDaniel and Rosa Ebaecha were named First Team All-League selections after standout seasons that helped lead the team in some of its most competitive matches. Martha Mulubilwa and Lilly Ali-Flowers earned Second Team All-League recognition, a testament to their consistent performances and commitment throughout the year.

Rosa Ebaecha was also named the team’s Most Valuable Player (MVP), highlighting her leadership and impact across the season. Joelle McDaniel received the Warrior Award, while Martha Mulubilwa was honored as Offensive Player of the Year. These awards reflected not only individual excellence but also the collective effort and support that defined the team’s season.
