Volunteer for San Diego Half Marathon with Teressa Rosalind French Foundation

We have an exciting opportunity to serve at the San Diego Half Marathon & 5K on Sunday, March 22, 2026. The Teressa Rosalind French Foundation is looking for volunteers at three locations along the race route to help hand out water to runners.

For those who may not know, Teressa Rosalind French was a student who attended the Rock Academy for part of her educational journey. At the age of 16, while living in Washington, D.C., Teressa tragically passed away. Her foundation was created in her honor to provide scholarships and grants to young students, encouraging both academic excellence and spiritual growth rooted in Christian values.

Each year, the foundation awards scholarships to Rock Academy students. This is a meaningful opportunity for us to support a foundation that so faithfully supports our community. Please consider volunteering and serving alongside them.

Students who wish to volunteer must be 14 years or older to volunteer independently. Students under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or approved chaperone in order to participate.

Thank you for helping us give back.
