The Rock Academy girls volleyball team opened the 2026 season with an exciting 3–2 victory over the High Tech CV Bruins on Tuesday night, August 11, giving Head Coach Mark his first career win as a head coach.

The Warriors came out strong, taking the first two sets and putting themselves one set away from victory. High Tech CV battled back, winning the third and fourth sets to force a decisive fifth set.

Rock Academy responded when it mattered most, regrouping and winning the fifth set to secure the thrilling 3–2 victory.

The Warriors finished the night with 27 kills, 21 aces, 59 digs, and 24 assists as a team.

Sophomore #2 Annie Goodin led the way offensively with 8 kills and added 7 aces from the service line.

#13 Dani Lara also had an outstanding all-around performance, recording 5 aces, 13 digs, and 18 assists to help lead the Warriors throughout the match.

The victory was a memorable way to begin the season and an especially meaningful night for Coach Mark as he earned his first career victory leading the Warriors.
